Who's your favourite artist?

One of my all time favourite artists is Rose Datoc Dall. She is a member of the church and specializes in portrait and figure work. If I could be my version of a "perfect artist" my work would look like hers. It's spectacular. I especially love her use and understanding of light and shadow. Her subject matter is what I find myself drawing naturally, human figures (mostly females and children) except she is above and beyond anything I could accomplish.
