Oil and water

I hadn't tried my hand at oil paints in quite a while, and realized I had more at home than I expected. I worked with pictures from a trip we took on Carlyle's boat. The Atlantic ocean is ridiculously beautiful outside the Halifax harbour. Here's my attempt at creating a glimpse of that beauty.

I have to admit I'd forgotten just how much I love painting with oils. Has anybody else painted with oils and how did you like it? Would you do it again?
