Inking and Architecture

I love scribbling; scribbling architecture is my favourite, especially with ink. Some lucky person lives here. I have no idea who. I just saw the house over the summer, took a picture and thought "someday I'll draw that house". Well today was that day. What's funny is they don't even know that someone's drawing pictures of their home. Weird.

If I'd had more time, I would have worked more on value (differentiating between light and dark). But there's something about leaving it as a scribble that I kinda like. I dunno. I'm still clearly having scanning issues (as seen by the shadow along the entire right side of the drawing...grr......I'll work out the kinks one day).

  1. I always struggle with architecture... I should practice more. You have inspired me :)
Do you struggle with perspective ever? I think that's why I avoid architecture. It's great to keep it lose like this drawing though. It still looks correct but it's not tight and rigid looking. It looks like a place I'd love to live!
