The Narrows

Nathan, Nathan's dad Carlyle, my mother, Cam and I went on a boat ride along the coast (far away from the Halifax harbour). I took plenty of pictures with the intent of painting them and that's what you've seen the last few posts. This is yet another from that awesome trip. I showed this painting to my father-in-law. He told me this area was called "the Narrows". I hadn't yet mentioned that I painted the picture from that outing we had, but he seemed to recognize it right away which made me extremely happy :)
To me it sort of looks like it could be 'anywhere, Nova Scotia'. Water, rocks and coniferous trees.
