Ok May was a big month. But after a long break I'm definitely back in the Blogging world and super excited about the dabble prospects. Une petite update: In the month of May I started my dabble table at the Horton Farmers' Market every Saturday morning. Each seems like it's even more fun than the last. I'm in LOVE with being in the Market. Local. Fresh. Friendly. LOVE!
I've been in three "shows", some successful, some not so much. Live and learn .. and know your market. Now I know.
Lots of commissioned work, a birthday, and an anniversary later and I'm ready for a low-key June.
At the Market I'm selling all sorts of my "wares". One thing I "dabbled" with is garden signs! I was inspired with some new landscaping in our backyard allowing us to have a small herb/tomato garden. We had a new fence built and I made the signs out of the wood from the old fence! (Upcycling is wonderful) I'm constantly on the lookout for funny/cute/heartwarming garden sayings. Some of my favourites: "Grow Dangit!" ... "Should I weed the lawn or say it's a garden?" ... "Fresh herbs" ... "Welcome to my garden, take your thyme"
Any ideas for me?
I was at the Market two weeks ago and fell IN LOVE with your "too blessed to be stressed" art piece. Very much fits my life of an adopted toddler, foster teenager and hopefully one more foster baby very soon!
ReplyDeleteYour very wonderful, friendly husband told me another woman from Belmont was coming back to get it that day. Due to a sick baby I was unable to come back this past week to grab it!
Do you still have it available? If not, can you make me a bigger one? I have a spot for it.
You are so talented and so creative, thank you for sharing your gifts!!!

Thanks again :)
